Leo Altenberg, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician and women’s health expert in El Paso, Texas. As the founder of El Paso Women’s Clinic, Dr. Altenberg is excited to bring comprehensive women’s health care, including both medical care and wellness services, to women of all ages in the community.
Dr. Altenberg attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He then went on to receive his master’s degree at the University of Dallas. After his graduate studies, he pursued his doctorate in medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
As a practitioner for over 32 years, Dr. Altenberg is dedicated to helping women and men achieve the best health possible. He is bilingual in English and Spanish, and enjoys working with people from all walks of life. Prior to creating his practices, Dr. Altenberg worked as a family medicine physician.
Dr. Altenberg is the founder of El Paso Men’s Clinic, a complementary practice that provides specialized services for men. His philosophy for both clinics encompasses total well-being, with a mission to make women and men “feel happier and live healthier.”
